First-time author J. A. Muscat created quite a memory in me with her debut book ‘The Knight Chronicles- Book 1: Guardians of Magic’, which resurrected memories of a book I read many years ago by Poul Anderson ‘The Broken Sword’.
The author has created two protagonists, twins Suzie and Jack, that you just must like.
Ms. Muscat brilliantly captures the essence of how pre-teens speak, act, and think through her portrayal of the twins.
The author’s imagination shines in the book as she explores the various aspects of magic that these young characters are discovering, learning, and experiencing.
The best part of the book?
Well, you got to read it to the end to find out.
This I feel is a splendid book for parents who want wholesome fantasy for their children to read and I highly recommended it.
